It happened again. I read the daily digest for one of my Yahoo groups and TRIED to visit the group on the website to check for updates.
"Hi, Susanne" appeared at the top of the screen indicating I was logged in, but I couldn't access the group files.
"Join this group."
Anybody know the secret to getting out (and staying out) of Ya'Hell?!

Suzanne, sorry be so long coming in on this, and to hear about your problems with 'Ya=hell'. I had a similar problem recently. Even though I have all my groups set to 'remember' me I had to log in to each one individually and it was an absolute pain. I checked my 'cookies' and they were enabled (although it's always worth checking). After about a week I went back in and reset the cookies to enable even though they hadn't be disabled and whether this kicked the system into submission or it was a complete coincidence I don't know, but shortly afterwards my groups 'remembered' me again after the initial log-in. Last year Yahoo wouldn't accept my passwords more than once and I had to change them every time I went in - a nightmare! I suspect Yahoo is an alien device inflicted on authors to drive us all insane!
